The best solid shampoos are non-saponified shampoos with a pH between 5 and 6. They contain the gentlest possible cleansing base so as not to attack your scalp, ideally sulphate-free. They are composed of ingredients of natural origin and certified organic that take care of your hair with all its problems. Before washing your hair, remember to brush your hair. It doesn't seem like much, but it allows you to remove dust and impurities and activate your scalp to promote hair growth! Then just wet hair and solid shampoo and pass the solid shampoo on your scalp only. Once a creamy foam appears, massage your scalp, then rinse. No need to use a solid shampoo on all the lengths, washing your scalp is more than enough and the rinsing water will very effectively remove what needs to be removed from your ends and lengths without attacking them! With a solid shampoo, the ideal is to apply a solid conditioner afterwards on the lengths, or on all the hair if you have dry hair. Finally, be aware that if solid shampoo is new to you, you may have 3-4 weeks to adapt because your hair fiber is totally suffocated, in particular by the silicone contained in conventional liquid shampoos. Detoxifying your hair fiber takes time. To help you get through this period, rinsing your hair with a mixture of cider vinegar and water helps a lot (1L of warm water with 1 glass of cider vinegar).
